Rich tributes paid to Rajiv Gandhi on birth anniversary

"It was Rajiv Gandhi who initiated information and communication technology in the country, triggering a boom in the sectors," Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay said after garlanding Rajiv's photo.

"India is one of the leading countries in these two sectors," the minister said, as he and other Congress leaders remembered the late Prime Minister on the occasion.
