Two motor cycle borne robbers allegedly snatched a bag containing Rs 8 lakh from a jeweller, who was on a scooter, on the GT road near Ambala Cantt today.
Jagmohan Jain, a resident of Jain Nagar here, was moving towards Ambala cantt railway station, when a motorcycle hit his two wheeler and he fell on the ground, police said.
The robbers snatched the bag from Jagmohan and escaped, they said.
In the complaint, Jagmohan said that he was going to the railway station to take a train to Delhi.
