Robert Pattinson, Carey Mulligan join 'Hold On To Me'

The 26-year-old "Twilight" star and the 27-year-old actress are set to star in the film to be directed by James Marsh, reported Deadline.

Brad Ingelsby has written the screenplay, which is based on the true story of a young couple who kidnap and hold for ransom their town's richest man. However, the pair's plan falls apart when they decide to bury him alive.

Mulligan will play the femme fatale and Pattinson will star in a supporting role as Jimmy, Mulligan's alter-ego's true love who is not involved with the crime.
