Armed miscreants today looted Rs 7.2 lakh from a petrol pump employees at Narayanpur bus stand in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, a police officer said.
Two employees of Gayatri petrol pump Dilip Mishra and Sikander Yadav were going to a bank at Nagpara on a bike to deposit the amount when as many motorcycle-borne miscreants intercepted them and snatched their bag containing the cash at gun point before making good their escape, Navgachhiya police district's Superintendent of Police Shekhar Kumar said.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection and raids were being carried out to apprehend the culprits, he said.
