Rupee gains 11p to close at 68.43 against US dollar

The rupee today gained 11 paise to close at more than one-month high of 68.43/44 against the US dollar today.

The pound sterling finished lower at Rs 89.86/88 against last close of 90.21 at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market here today.
