A nursery standard boy was kidnapped minutes after his school van dropped him near his home on Sonkha Road in Azad Nagar area here, police said today.
They said they have not been able to find any clue about Ansh, son of Abhishek Yadav, since his kidnapping last afternoon.
Ansh is a student of Raman Lal Shorawala school.
"Ansh was kidnapped when the school van dropped him and his cousin Jai Yadav, son of Pinku, at the gate of street leading to his home on Sonkha Road, in Azad Nagar area, under Kotwali police station," an FIR filed by the parents said.
Superintendent of Police (City) Alok Priyadarshi said, "Four teams, including STF, are working round-the-clock to recover the child, however, so far there has been no trace of him."
Police said while one kidnapper had covered his face with a piece of cloth, the other was wearing helmet.
