Senior officer injured in road accident

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur Parshotam Singh Sodhi was today injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and car at Tanda town on Jalandhar- Pathankot highway, police said.

Another person, Vikas Kainth, was also injured in the mishap, they said, adding both were hospitalised.
