A week-long expo showcasing traditional art, craft and culture of Jharkhand was thrown opene to public here today.
Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Neelkanth Singh Munda inaugurated the 'Jharkhand Expo' aimed at promoting handicraft, handloom and cuisines of the state at the national level.
Around 40 stalls including of 'lac' bangles, bamboo arts, woodcraft, paintings and several other products of 'Jharcraft' are on display at the expo hosted at the Dilli Haat in Janakpuri.

Daily cultural and multimedia shows, exhibitions of handloom and handicrafts and Jharkhand cuisine are the main attractions of the event that will conclude on May 27.
Around 40 local artists of the state will perform a cultural programme daily evening to showcase the state's art and culture.
An exporter summit will be organised on May 24 where exporters of handloom and handicraft from all over the country are expected to participate.
