Silver prices were up by Rs 200 to Rs 35,110 per kg in futures trade today as speculators built up positions amid a higher global trend.
In futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December gained Rs 200, or 0.57%, to Rs 35,110 per kg in a business turnover of 1,358 lots.
Also, the white metal for delivery in March was up by Rs 154, or 0.43%, to Rs 35,725 per kg in five lots.

Analysts said speculators created fresh positions in tune with higher global trend, pushing silver prices higher at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver rose 0.07% to $14.75 an ounce in Singapore.
