Six arrested for theft

Six persons were today arrested

from Hasanjang area of Unnao district for allegedly looting 28.8 kgs silver from a jeweller, official sources said here.

The arrests were made by a Crime Branch team, which also recovered the looted silver and Rs 2.4 lakhs, they said.

The six allegedly stole silver and cash from one Srikrishna in Unnao on April 13 when he was going to Agra from Lucknow.
