Six children among seven killed in school roof collapse in Pak

At least six children and a teacher were killed on Saturday after the roof of a school building collapsed during a Pakistan Day function in Gujranwala city of Punjab province.

According to rescue officials, at least 16 others were also injured in the incident and were transferred to a local hospital, the Express Tribune reported.

Deputy Commissioner Naila Baqir and various officials reached the site of the incident and said that a Pakistan Day function was taking place when the

roof of the private school collapsed.
