Six injured by leopard in UP

Six persons have been injured in attack by a stray leopard in Kotwali area, a senior officer said here today.
Six persons, including a mediaperson, were injured when a leopard attacked them while being rounded up in Tajkhoi village yesterday, Divisional Forest Officer Akhilesh Pandey said.
He said that on the directives of District Magistrate Abhay Kumar, the leopard was chased, but it managed to escape in Ikauna village in the jungles of neighbouring Shravasti district.
