Sooraj's special message to Athiya on her birthday

Actor Sooraj Pancholi has shared a sweet message for his "Hero" co-star Athiya Shetty on Twitter as she turned 24.

The star, who made his Bollywood debut with Athiya, thanked the actress for being an important part of his life.

"Happy birthday u cartoon. Thank you for being such an important part of my life!! Love u too much @theathiyashetty," he wrote.

To which she replied, "Thank you my soopoo! and relax, I have your cap!!!"

The two began their film career with Salman Khan-produced "Hero".
