Afghan security forces inspect a building, used by insurgents to launch an attack on Pakistan's consulate in Jalalabad, capital of Nangarhar province, Afghanistan.
At least three Afghan soldiers were killed in a suicide bomb attack on an army minibus near their base in northern Balkh province, an official said.
Munir Ahmad Farhad, spokesman for the provincial governor in Balkh, says the suicide bomber was on foot and targeted the army vehicle today in Dahdadi district.
18 other military personnel were wounded in the attack, he added.
