Sultry, overcast morning in Delhi, light rain forecast

It was a sultry, overcast Thursday morning in the national capital marked by high minimum temperature and humidity levels.

The minimum temperature was 29.6 degrees Celsius which is four notches above the average in the season. Relative humidity at 8.30 AM was 77 percent, said a MeT department official.

The day is forecast to remain generally cloudy. Light rain is also expected, he said.

The maximum temperature will be around 36 degrees Celsius.

The maximum on Wednesday settled at 38.2 degrees Celsius whereas the minimum was 28.2 degrees Celsius.
