Maharashtra Health Minister Eknath Shinde Saturday visited Nashik Municipal Corporation and asked officials here to take strong measures to tackle diseases like swine flu, dengue and other monsoon-related ailments currently prevalent in the district.
In the meeting attended by Nashik Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishna Game, Mayor Ranjana Bhansi and Joint Director Health Dr Satish Pawar among others, Shinde said public awareness programmes must be started in the district's rural and urban areas to prevent occurrence of such diseases, an official statement informed.
