Teacher molested in moving bus, molester arrested

A woman teacher from Dum Dum in Kolkata was molested in a moving bus when she was on her way to school in Santragachi here in the district.

The police said quoting an FIR filed by the woman at Jagacha police station that a 28-year-old man, identified as Rajen Ray, passed lewd comments at her and subsequently pulled her hand inside the bus.

When she raised an alarm, a fellow passenger dialled the Kolkata Police helpline number '100', a little after which policemen arrived and arrested the man after asking the bus to stop at Santragachi, the police said.

Later, the woman, who is a teacher of the Santragachi Central School, lodged an FIR at the Jagacha police station in Howrah district.
