Technical snag halts flight take off

A Kuwait-bound Air India plane from here today could not take off due to a technical snag, airline officials said.

The Chennai-Goa-Kuwait flight, with 159 passengers and crew onboard, was brought back to the bay after it ran for a short distance on the runway.

The aircraft was scheduled to leave by 7.30 pm and it was brought back to the bay shortly after it started to roll down the runway.
