The Telangana unit of Congress today hit out at the K Chandrashekar Rao-led government for making tall promises but 'failing' to deliver on them.

The KCR government, in its four year rule only managed to make tall promises (during elections) but performed poorly," Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President N Uttam Kumar Reddy told reporters here.

All the state government schemes like mission Kakatiya, mission Bhagiratha, three-acre land to the poor are "mired in irregularities," he alleged.

Reddy sought Rao to step down from his position owning moral responsibility.

He listed out the alleged irregularities that took place during the four-year rule of Telangana Rashtra Samithi, and showed the figures given by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India and compared them with state government's claims.

Pointing out the differences, he said the government has been 'deceiving' the people of the state by showing excess revenue which were in fact loans borrowed by it.

Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, Shabbir Ali, spokesperson of TPCC, Dasoju Shravan and other Congress Leaders were present during the PowerPoint Presnetation.
