The 67th senior national basket
ball championship for men and women organised by Puducherry Basketball Association in association with the Basketball Federation of India began here today.
Last year's runners up Kerala in women's wing opened with a comfortable 66-21 win over West Bengal.
Following are results:In Men's wing Level 1: Gujarat beat Chhattisgarh 57-51.
Level 2: West Bengal beat Jharkhand 63-31.
In women's division Level 1 Kerala beat West Bengal 66-21.
Level 2 Karnataka beat Gujarat 66-32 and Odisha beat Puducherry 61-24.
