Three Bangladeshi nationals arrested in city

Three Bangladeshi nationals, who had entered the country illegally without valid documents, have been arrested from the Kaikhali area of Kolkata, police said today.

"Acting on a tip-off, three Bangladeshis, Nur Hossein, Zaman and Salim, were last night arrested from the Kaikhali area of Baguihati. They did not have any valid documents. We will produce the trio before court today," said Deputy Commissioner, Detective Department of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, Arnab Ghosh.

According to police, the three are dreaded criminals of Bangladesh and have several cases registered against them there.
