TVS Motor Company today reported a 10.19 per cent increase in total sales at 2,32,527 units in March.
The Chennai-based company had sold 2,11,005 units in the same month last year.
Total two-wheeler sales during the month grew 13.25 per cent to 2,26,653 units as against 2,00,121 in the same month a year ago, TVS Motor Company said in a BSE filing.
Motorcycle sales rose 12.94 per cent to 86,776 units in March compared with 76,832 in the same month a year ago.
Scooter sales surged 24.66 per cent to 68,171 units as against 54,683 in the same period a year ago.
Three-wheeler sales was 5,874 units in March 2016, down 46.03 per cent, compared with 10,884 in the year-ago month.
Exports during the month declined by 26.88 per cent to 31,121 units, from 42,565 in March last year.
