Two persons were arrested on charges of cheating at Talwandi Bhangerian village here, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, police conducted raids yesterday and arrested Kishan Singh and Jaspreet Singh from their houses, SSP Snehdeep Sharma said.
Police recovered computer, stamps of various government departments, national permit for vehicles, driving licenses, college certificates, ID cards and Aadhaar cards from their possession, SSP said.
Preliminary investigation revealed that both the accused were allegedly running this illegal business for the past several years, he added.
A case was registered against both the accused under relevant sections.
