Two boys drowned in a pond at a village in Odisha's Dhenkhanal district today, the police said.
The mishap took place when a group of boys were taking bath in a pond in Balisahi village located in Kamakshyanagar area and slipped into deep water, they said.
The bodies of the deceased were identified as Mithun Biswal (10) and Satyaban Sahoo (12) were fished out by the locals, Inspector In-Charge of Kamakshyanagar police station, Prabhat Tripathy said.
