A court here today awarded life sentence to two persons in connection with the murder of a teenage girl in 2014.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Ram Prakash awarded the life sentence to Pintu Rai and Santosh Rai for stabbing the girl and her parents on January 15, 2014 at Babu Bishunpur village in the district.
The girl succumbed to the stab injuries the same day.
Additional Public Prosecutor Harendra Prasad Singh said that an FIR was filed against eight persons, including the two, in accordance with the statement recorded by the girl's mother.
