A case has been registered at Bhandup police station against an unidentified person for allegedly threatening to kill Maharashtra NCP vice president Bhaskar Vichare over phone, police said Monday.

The caller also told Vichare that he will remove two more persons from his way, Vichare said in a complaint.

After the NCP leader approached police, a non-cognisable offence was registered against the caller, an official said.

Further probe is on, he added.
