UP govt recommends CBI probe into police inspector's murder

Uttar Pradesh government has recommended a CBI into the murder case of a police inspector in Pratapgarh district last year, a senior official said today.

Inspector Anil Kumar was murdered in November last year under Kotwali police station area. State government has recomment a CBI enquriy into the case, Principal Secretary (Home) Drvashish Panda said.

A letter has been send to the Secretary, Department of Personnel, Government of India in this regard.
