Uttarakhand reeled under severe cold conditions today with several places in the state recording sub-zero temperatures.
Dehradun registered a marginal rise in temperature where the mercury settled at a low of 3 degrees Celsius from yesterday's from 2.9 degrees Celsius, a MeT official said.
Mukteshwar was the coldest recorded place in the state where the minimum temperature was minus 3.2 degrees Celsius.

Nainital registered a low of minus 2.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Tehri minus 2.2 degrees Celsius and Pantnagar 0.8 degrees Celsius, the MeT office said.
Similar conditions are likely to prevail across the state for the next few days, it said.
