Veteran Tamil writer Ra Ki Rangarajan is no more

84-year old Rangarajan, who had been suffering from lung ailment for some months, breathed his last at his residence, family sources said.
Rangarajan, who had penned numerous novels, short stories and translated works, was associated with the popular Tamil weekly "Kumudam" for over four decades.
Born in the temple town of Kumbakonam, Rangarajan wrote numerous novels and stories besides translating famous English fictions like those of Sydney Sheldon and Jeffrey Archer.
The cremation would take place tomorrow, the family sources said.
