Villagers refuse to give land for Reliance power project

Accompanied by officials, Deputy Commissioner Shiv Shankar Tiwari went to Paparwa village to hold talks with villagers, Land Acquisition Officer Zayan Prakash Minz told reporters here.
The DC had called the people of nine villages for talks, but they refused the overture, he said.
A total of 971 acre, including private land, have been identified in the Jainanagar block of the district for the reliance power project, he said.
