Vin Diesel announces third 'Riddick' film, TV series
Action star Vin Diesel gave his fans a double treat when he broke the news of the third installment of "Chronicles of Riddick" in making, along with a TV series "Merc City".
The 48-year-old "Fast and Furious" actor confirmed in an Instagram post that the film will be titled "Furia".
"Last night Our company had a party to launch Our TV division. Very exciting. 'MERC CITY' is a show that will follow the Mercs and Bounty Hunters of the Riddick Universe." He said director/screenwriter David Twohy will begin writing next month.
"Next Month, DT begins writing the next Chapter in the Chronicles of Riddick... FURIA. #HappyFurianFriday".
The second installment in the franchise saw Diesel's Riddick stranded on a planet populated by predatory alien race.
