Woman allegedly poisoned to death

A 20-year old woman was allegedly poisoned to death by her in-laws at Kaithabeada village in Ganjam district, police said today.

The body of the deceased, identified as Santoshini Sethi, was recovered by the police yesterday and sent for postmortem, they said.

The deceased's mother alleged that Santoshini was tortured by her husband, a daily wage labourer, and in-laws for dowry.

They got married about three years ago.
