Woman commits suicide in Varanasi

A 29-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her room here, police said today.

Divya, a resident of Pashurampur area here took the extreme step last night, they said.

She was working for local dance group along with her husband Mahendra, police said.

The body has been sent for postmortem and investigation is on, they said.
