Woman forced to carry out abortion by in-laws, case registered

A woman was allegedly forced to carry out abortion and tortured over dowry by her in-laws in Haryana's Faridabad district.

The woman, Deepsikha living at a village along the Mumbai-Agra National Highway-3, has filed a complaint after which police booked her husband Rajiv Gupta, mother-in-law Manorama, father-in-law Raghunath and sister-in-law Poonam.

A police spokesperson said Deepsikha got married to Rajiv about two years ago.

Deepshikha alleged that her in-laws had forced to carry out abortion. Police are investigating the matter.
