Woman held for killing her two kids, paramour on run

A woman was today arrested for allegedly murdering her two minor sons in connivance with her paramour in Jamnagar district, police said.

"We arrested Sheetal Baraiya, a resident of GIDC area of Rajkot district, after she has confessed to having a extra marital affair with a close family friend and killing of her two children," Deputy SP, Jamnagar, Swaroop Singh said.

Police had recovered bodies of two kids, aged 2 and 5, from a well in Baghla village of Lalpur tehsil yesterday, he said.

The deceased were later identified as Yash and his brother Sunil -- both sons of Prakash Baraiya, a labourer.
 

A case of murder and criminal conspiracy has been registered.
