Woman, infant daughter killed in wall collapse

A woman and her infant daughter were killed today and three others got injured in a wall collapse in Bihar's Bhojpur district, a police officer said.

The incident took place at Govinddih village as the wall of a house collapsed and fell on five members of a family while they were asleep, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Krishna Kumar said.

While a 35 year-old woman Sita Devi and her infant daught Sabita were killed on the spot, three others sustained injuries, he said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured persons admitted to Sadar hospital.
