Woman killed after truck rams into bike in UP

A woman, who was riding a motorcycle, died today after being hit by a truck here, police said.

Rita Devi, a resident of Kerakat, had gone to take medicines with her 45-year-old mother when their motorcycle was hit by truck, killing her mother on the spot while Rita escaped death, they said.

The truck driver fled the spot, police said adding a case has been registered against an unidentified person.
