Woman killed in cylinder burst

A 30-year-old woman was killed when a cylinder burst into flames in her house at Sohar village here, police said today.

The incident occurred yesterday when the victim, identified as Seeta Devi, was cooking when the house caught fire following the cylinder blast, they said.

Police rushed to spot and fire tenders were pressed into the service. Subsequently, the fire was brought under control.
