Woman labourer raped in Ghaziabad

A woman labourer was allegedly raped by her co-worker at an under-construction building here, police said today.

The incident happened yesterday when the accused Manoj, who worked as a foreman at the site, called the woman and raped her, they said.

The victim with her husband today lodged a complaint against Manoj who is absconding, police said, adding a probe into the matter is on.

Meanwhile, a headless body of an unidentified man was today found near Shiwali Farmhouse at Sihani Gate area here, police said.

Sihani Gate police station in-charge Ashok Sisodia said that the man was killed probably somewhere else and then the body dumped here.
 

Police are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of his death.
