A woman was allegedly strangulated to death by her paramour and three others in Bilaspur village here when she opposed the accused's relationship with her daughter, police said today.
"The four accused identified as Ramvir, Anuj, Satish and Arjun were arrested yesterday," SP City Sharvan Kumar told reporters.
The 35-year-old widow's paramour Ramvir, had also developed relations with her 18-year-old daughter and wanted to marry her but the victim was against it.
Ramvir along with his three associates stragulated her to death. Her body was found in the fields near Bilaspur village on the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway near here on July 20.
