Woman's body found in garbage dump

The partially-clad body of a 50- year-old woman was found at a garbage dump in northwest Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy area, the police said today.

The woman was a garbage-picker who lived in a nearby slum. Her body was found yesterday with injury marks on the head and neck.

Police are probing whether she was sexually assaulted. It is suspected that she was bludgeoned with stones and sticks.
