The naked body of a 28-year- old woman with multiple stab wounds was found in sugarcane fields near Batla village here today.
It is suspected that she was raped by unidentified persons and then stabbed to death, Chaparasi police said.
She had gone to the fields but did not return and later her body was found, they said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and further investigations are underway, they added.
