A 35-year-old woman was today shot at allegedly by two unidentified persons in Khyala area of west Delhi, police said.
According to police, the woman, who works with an electrical stabiliser manufacturing unit in the Khyala, lives with her husband and four children in Raghubir Nagar.
The incident took place when she was walking towards her workplace at around 9.45 AM this morning.
The victim has suffered bullet injuries in her abdomen and is admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, police said.
"The woman is now not in a situation to give her statement to the police. As per initial investigation, it appears to be a case of personal enmity. A case has been registered and further investigation is on," said a police official.
