Woman, son killed as truck hits two-wheeler

A woman and her son, residents of Gangapur Road area here, were killed on the spot when a truck dashed their two-wheeler near Khetwani lawn on the Untawadi road at around 10.50 am today.

The deceased were identified as Manikabai Suresh Jain and her son Vivek Jain.

They were heading towards Trimurti chowk.

While the driver of the truck was absconding, the police had detained the cleaner.
