A 40-year-old woman was
strangled to death allegedly by her husband at Nanaknagar under Golmuri police station here, the police said.
The body of Lalita Devi was found at her house today and her husband, Ramashankar Singh, was absconding, Golmuri police station OC Md Nihaluddin said.
He said the body, which bore no injury marks, had been sent for a post-mortem.
Family dispute is suspected to be the cause of the strangulation, the OC says.
