A youth has been booked for allegedly luring a minor on the pretext of marriage and eloping with her, police said today.
A case has been registered against Mukesh for luring a 13-year-old girl by promising to marry her and subsequently eloping with her follwing the complaint by the minor's mother, they said.
Ranju Devi, a resident of Rajiv Nagar here registered a complaint yesterday that the accused eloped with her daughter few days back, police said, adding that investigation is on in the matter.
In another case, a 13-year-old boy allegedly went missing from his house here, police said.
Bhagwan Devi, a resident of SGM Nagar here, informed the police that her minor son had gone outside the house yesterday and has not returned yet, they added.
