Youth shot at in Nashik

A 22-year-old youth was

today allegedly shot at by unidentified persons in the city, police said.

Rahul Tak, a resident of Gorewadi here, was shot at near the Panchavati college on the New Mumbai-Agra highway by unidentified persons, Panchvati police station in-charge D J Bardekar said.

Prima facie, old rivalry between Tak and the unidentified accused could be reason behind the attack, the officer said.

He is being admitted to the Nashik civil hospital, Bardekar said, adding a case under relevant sections of IPC was registered.
