Youth shot dead in Mau district

A 27-year-old youth was today shot dead allegedly by two unidentified persons in Ghoshi area, a senior police officer said here.

Raju Yadav was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne persons in the Bela Sultanpur village of the district this morning, Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Singh said.

He said that the motive behind the murder was not yet clear.

The SP said that the body has been sent for post mortem and investigations are on.
