Intel's Q4 results beats estimates due to stable PC market, data centre biz

Data centre biz revenue rose 8.4% to $4.67 billion and PC biz revenue rose 4.3% to $9.13 billion


Intel Corp reported a 9.8 per cent rise in quarterly revenue on Thursday ahead of analysts' estimates, boosted by a stabilising PC market and a rise in demand for its data centre services. Shares of the world's largest chipmaker rose 2.2 per cent to $38.38 in extended trading on Thursday.
