U.S stock futures fall 3 percent as inflation fright grips markets

TOKYO (Reuters) - U.S. stock futures extended Wall Street's overnight misery, tumbling 3.0 percent in Asia on Tuesday as investors feared rising U.S. inflation could lift interest rates at a faster pace and spoil the rosy earnings growth outlook.

S&P 500 mini futures dropped as much as 3 percent to 2,529, their lowest level since early October.
